Position Overview

As the Marketing and PR Specialist, you are a multifaceted individual with strong communication skills, a strategic thinker, a relationship builder, and a team player, and you also have your finger on the pulse of the Quebec region. You will help develop and implement strategies to enhance UNIQLO’s brand and product awareness and help amplify brand buzz.

Job Description

Developing and implementing marketing and PR plans, setting goals and measuring results that in turn build brand awareness and strengthen the positioning of UNIQLO with the market.

  • Analyze market trends: staying informed about industry (fashion / retail / shopping) trends and competitor activities.
  • Assist with the creation of social content for key seasonal products in Quebec.
  • Relationship Building – maintain strong relationships with Quebec influencers and key stakeholders.
  • Support with in‑store, PR and product marketing events in Canada and in Quebec.
  • Identify new customers and growth opportunities in Quebec.
  • Define and evaluate competitors and UNIQLO’s points of differentiation within the Canadian market and Quebec.
  • Propose both short‑term and long‑term marketing strategy with strong analysis in market opportunity, previous sales history, marketing spending vs. net sales and local trend.
  • Localize Canadian marketing & PR plan to reflect the Quebec region to help local customers understand the brand, drive new customer acquisition and build relationships with Quebec local partners.
  • Support local media partnerships and relationship building with local businesses, content creators and communities.
  • Oversee in‑store and online materials in French Canadian to ensure translation is locally relevant.
  • Assist with local content creator partnership and product seeding.
  • Assist in creation of new partnerships and programs to increase UNIQLO’s brand awareness, sales and customer traffic to stores in Quebec.
  • Responsible for development and execution of new store openings in partnership with cross‑functional stakeholders in Quebec.
  • Manage agency relationships and conduct briefings for marketing plan development and execution.
Desired Skills and Experiences
