Specialist, Technology Service Management

We are hiring a Specialist, Technology Service Management to champion technology-enabled service delivery and operational excellence across our organization. This role is pivotal in architecting, implementing, and continuously optimizing technology service management processes and frameworks, leveraging industry-leading practices and advanced ITSM platforms.

In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of ITSM processes, driving automation, efficiency, and measurable outcomes while championing the adoption of advanced ITSM tools such as SolarWinds and ServiceNow. You will develop and maintain robust process documentation, workflows, and SOPs in alignment with ITIL and organizational standards, oversee Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management to resolve IT issues promptly, minimize disruptions, and foster continuous improvement. Collaboration with technical teams and cross-functional partners will be key as you work to resolve incidents and implement lasting solutions.

You will manage Change and Release Management processes to support smooth deployment of IT services, define and monitor Service Level Agreements, and provide regular performance reports to stakeholders. As a trusted advisor and primary contact for IT service management, you will embody a culture of customer care, deliver engaging training and enablement sessions, and curate knowledge articles to promote a self‑service culture and continuous learning.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will bring a college or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, ideally complemented by ITIL foundation or higher certification, and possess 4–6 years of experience in IT Service Management or a related IT operations role. You will have hands‑on expertise with ITSM tools and a deep understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks, along with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to assess service performance and drive improvements. Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously are essential. You will demonstrate strong leadership abilities to guide teams through service improvement initiatives, and exemplary English communication skills to support both business and technology discussions.

Position Summary

The Business Process Analyst serves as a subject‑matter expert in finance processes, with a primary focus on process optimization. Working in close collaboration with the IT and ERP teams, the Business Process Analyst will support efforts to streamline month‑end close, review current process for areas of risk and collaboration with operations and the transformation office to enhance efficiency, standardization, and alignment with business goals.

Key responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing core processes, recommending and leading system enhancements and automation, overseeing issue resolution, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role also plays a critical part in stakeholder engagement, change management, and end‑user training to ensure successful adoption of improved practices and technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Finance Auditing & Projects
    • Review current processes and reporting to ensure subledger and general ledger accuracy.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with relevant departments.
    • Support the implementation of new Divalto modules and upgrades.
    • Lead finance improvement initiatives, including DEMAT automation, process standardization, and reporting using Tableau, SQL and Workday.
    • Coordinate with departments to optimize system testing, data migration, and workflow during project implementation.
  • Process Ownership & Optimization
    • Support the governance of end‑to‑end financial transactional processes, ensuring efficiency, standardization, and alignment with business objectives.
    • Identify and recommend solutions to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce manual interventions, and improve process efficiency through automation and redesign.
    • Promote the adoption of best practices across various finance functions to reduce risk exposure externally.
    • Work with teams to develop and maintain clear process documentation, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
  • Technology, Automation & Support
    • Collaborate with IT and ERP teams to enhance system functionality and support digital transformation initiatives.
    • Evaluate and implement technology solutions to reduce manual data entry and reduce analyzing times.
    • Coordinate user acceptance testing and training with teams as required for each project.
    • Perform root‑cause analysis and resolve system/process issues.
    • Act as an escalation point for operational issues in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
    • Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Conduct root‑cause analysis and participate in cross‑functional problem‑solving efforts using Transformation Management Office methodology.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement using structured tools and methodologies.
    • Identify and support execution of process improvement initiatives to reduce cost, increase accuracy, and enhance compliance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Management
    • Serve as a liaison between finance department and other functions to align business needs with process improvements.
    • Assist in change management efforts including training, communication plans, and adoption strategies.
    • Partner with compliance and audit teams to ensure robust controls and risk mitigation.
    • Deliver training and support to end‑users on new processes, tools, and troubleshooting protocols.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project management, business process analysis, or a related area.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration or a related field.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of system capabilities and configurations. ERP implementation is an asset.
  • Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio) and productivity tools (Excel, Tableau, Workday, etc.).
  • Experience with data analysis and performance measurement (KPIs, dashboards, reporting tools).
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma); certification is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%) and work flexible hours when required.
