Job summary

BMW Group Rosslyn is seeking a Specialist: Quality Engineer to drive product and process excellence by identifying deviations, leading problem-solving initiatives, and implementing sustainable improvements across manufacturing operations. You will work with internal production and global quality networks to ensure adherence to standards and deliver continuous improvement in product quality.

Qualifications include a university engineering degree, 5 years in production/quality, experience in sheet

Qualifications

• University degree or National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in production, quality, or press-part evaluation and planning.
• Experience in sheet metal manufacturing/assembly.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in PC and Microsoft software.
• Planning and coordinating skills.

Responsibilities

• Steers body quality to ensure effective use of resources.
• Determine and allocate quality problems to problem owners and departments.
• Is responsible and accountable for the quality related MPMs – the development and implementation.
• Ensures problem solving conformance to specified MPM.
• Manages the problem-solving process to effective conclusion.
• Ensures traceable documentation of quality problems and their corrective actions.
• Promotes adherence to agreed processes that affects Painted body quality.

• Analytical ability.
• PC skills and Microsoft software.
• Planning and coordinating skills.
