Job description
What you'll do

The Canadaian Marketing team is excited to add a Specilaist role to the team. The Specialist role will provide project support for cross-functional and agency partners for assigned initiatives working closely with the Senior National Marketing Manager. This role will assist with the execution of marketing initiatives to deliver the annual operating plan. The role will work collaboratively with the Canadian Marketing team to ensure timely communication to franchise system for flawless execution of marketing programs.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze marketing and finance data, providing insights and findings on marketing initiatives. Develop a variety of different marketing requests and reports such as WCAP presentations, Weekly Sales Reports., Post Pillar Analysis, and DMA meetings.
  • Work with the team to develop different marketing communications such as monthly field communications, POS documents, restaurant schematics, test letters, special events, etc.
  • Lead and support in maintaining the accuracy of the national marketing fund by submitting estimates and invoices to accounting on time and projecting expenses with support from Marketing Manager. Liase with external and internal stakeholders to ensure budget is on time and on track.
  • Support the development and management of merchandising requests for national funded programs as well as supporting new store openings and image activated locations.
What we expect from you
  • Bachelors Degree is required; marketing, advertising, communications, or related field are preferred.
  • 1-2 years in Marketing is preferred.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities - strong organization, communication and planning skills required.
  • Must be innovative, possess strong critical thinking skills and be self-motivated. Must be able to work independently and with a variety of other functions in the organization as part of a team.
  • Must be proficient in excel.
Expected Work Location (In Office)

It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Wendy's Canadian Restaurant Support Center 5515 North Service Rd STE 201 Burlington ON L7L 6G4 Canada or at other location(s) as designated by the Company. You are required to work in the office at least 3 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs.
