A prominent environmental organization is seeking a Specialist in Communications to develop bilingual content in French and English. This role involves creating engaging materials and supporting media relations to enhance public engagement. Ideal candidates will have over four years of communications experience, proficiency in social media management, and strong writing skills.

Location: Hybrid – Work from Home and any WWF-Canada Office – Preference for Montreal or Ottawa

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Starting Salary Range: $52,200 - $59,100 annually (commensurate upon related skills and experience)
The bilingual Specialist, Communications develops and delivers clear, engaging and high-quality materials in both French and English to support WWF-Canada’s goals, as well as to enhance understanding of and inspire engagement in our work. This role involves writing, editing and translating a variety of materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency of tone, style, and messaging across all channels. The Specialist collaborates with colleagues across departments (Conservation, Marketing, and Development) to identify, craft and share compelling stories, supports media relations and content production, and helps promote and maintain the organization’s reputation and voice in both official languages. With a strong knowledge of the French-Canadian market, the Specialist will be responsible for adapting and executing on strategy meant to engage Francophones in WWF-Canada’s work.
