Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada seeks a Specialist - Cable Routing and Low-Voltage Systems to lead design and integration for major transit and infrastructure projects. You will serve as the technical reference for cable routing, set design criteria, and mentor junior engineers.

You will coordinate interfaces between electrical, telecom, signaling, and civil works, apply standards and BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D), and review technical deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible for membership.
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in cable routing design for complex projects.
• Experience in public transit, railway, industrial, or major infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary integration constraints and industry standards.
• Proficiency in BIM environments, AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.

• Review and approve technical deliverables produced by the team and provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, partners, and subcontractors and contribute to service proposals, technical submissions, and project estimates.

Reporting to the Technical Lead or Project Director, you will serve as a technical expert in the design and integration of cable routing infrastructure, contributing to innovative engineering solutions and complex multidisciplinary projects.
