Maintenance Worker I, F&B (Special Events Porter)

Occasional Part-Time

Hours: Up to 24 hours per week on an as‑needed basis; Saturday availability required plus 2 weekdays; hours may vary depending on business needs; morning 5:00am–1:00pm, afternoon/evening 12:00pm–12:00am, late‑night/overnight 12:00am–6:00am.

Located in Toronto, the Art Gallery of Ontario is one of the largest art museums in North America, attracting approximately one million visitors annually. The AGO Collection features more than 120,000 works of art ranging from cutting‑edge contemporary pieces to significant works by Indigenous, Canadian, and European artists.

Pay Rate: $22.59 – $28.25 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with event set‑ups, including room layout, staging, bar set‑ups, tables, chairs, relevant signage, and ancillary equipment.
  • Assist with "back‑of‑house" event service areas, such as placement of hot boxes, cleaning of the banquet storeroom, general housekeeping, and garbage removal.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
