Job summary

Providence, a registered charity operating seven schools and childcare facilities in Calgary and surrounding areas, is seeking a full-time Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to support early intervention and inclusive education.

The role involves a 475-hour annual instruction commitment, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and a supportive environment focused on child development and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Must hold Alberta Interim/Permanent Teacher Certificate.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 is a condition of employment.
• Education degree from a Canadian university is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement programs following Alberta Education ECS guidelines.
• Provide developmentally appropriate and engaging learning opportunities.
• Establish and maintain a safe, stimulating classroom.
• Provide reports on child progress and goals per IPP's.
• Supervise and support Teaching/Therapy Assistants.
