Job summary

Southland Transportation Ltd. in Winnipeg, MB is seeking Spare School and Charter Bus Drivers to join our team. These roles cover routes on an as-needed basis, filling in for regular drivers during vacations, sick days, and other absences.

There is potential for Spare Drivers to transition into permanent roles as positions become available or additional work arises. No experience is necessary; you will receive training from day one.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Manitoba School Bus Certificate.
• Ability to interact with passengers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Trained in CPR/First Aid is considered an asset.
• Physically able to meet the demands of situations, including emergency bus evacuations.
• Must provide a current driver’s abstract.
• Criminal record check and vulnerable sector search may be required.

Responsibilities
