A leading contractor in security services is seeking a Spanish Linguist for a part-time position responsible for real-time transcriptions from Spanish to English. Candidates will analyze and decode colloquialisms, provide accurate transcripts of sensitive communications, and must have at least one year of transcription experience. This role involves shifts during days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and is subject to government background checks. Competitive hourly pay of $28.73 is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with relevant experience in a professional setting.
• Minimum of one year of transcription experience in Spanish.
• Must pass a language assessment with a score of 3 or better.

Responsibilities

• Perform real-time transcriptions from Spanish to English.
• Collect and analyze colloquialisms and slang terms.
• Transcribe recordings and documents as assigned.
