Job summary

MDA Space is seeking a Production Planning Coordinator to coordinate and expedite workflows and material to production for high‑critical work centers. You will receive assignments with periodic supervision and release production orders per schedule, prioritizing kits and tracking readiness with program teams.

Responsibilities include expediting shortages, following up across work centers, implementing ECN/NCR changes, and ensuring ERP production order completion.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office and related tools for planning and reporting.
• Knowledge of product nomenclature, planning concepts and ERP systems.
• Ability to process detailed documentation and data accurately.
• Experience in material or production planning environments is required.

Responsibilities

• Release production orders as per schedule.
• Prioritize kits and update status for production meetings.
• Track and expedite readiness and shortages with program and operation teams.
• Internally expedite shortages to respect the AI&T plan.
• Follow up on activities across work centers and set priorities.
• Ensure transactions reflect activities and are organized.
• Implement changes per ECN, NCR, etc.
• Follow up NCR, MRB on material and assemblies.
• Ensure completion of production orders in ERP.
• Suggest improvements for material flow and efficiency.
• Provide guidance to less experienced personnel.
