Job summary

A leading logistics company in Ontario is seeking a PM Sorter to help deliver on customer promises. In this role, you will sort and separate freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet delivery schedules. No specialized education or experience is necessary. The position offers a shift of 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 7 PM, with pay at $20.64 per hour.

  • Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor.
  • Unload freight off conveyor for load-out.
  • Load freight into linehaul/cube truck or trailer.
  • Preload mail and packages into delivery vehicles.
  • Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items.
  • Scan shipped or received mail/packages.

Shift Details

Shift timings: Mon - Fri 4pm - 7pm

Pay: $20.64 / hr

Responsibilities
  • Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
  • Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
  • Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
  • Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
  • Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
  • Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
