Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure architecture solutions that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and contribute to the creation of security architecture decision documents and solution designs across a variety of initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure security is embedded in all phases of solution delivery.
- Analyze and assess security risks and propose mitigation strategies in alignment with industry best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert in security architecture, guiding teams on best practices and providing mentorship where needed.
- Maintain awareness of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to continually evolve the organization’s security posture.
- Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment and understanding of security goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise in security architecture, solution design, and technical leadership within the security domain.
- Strong knowledge of cloud and on-premise security practices, threat modeling, data protection, and identity management.
- Experience creating and documenting security architecture decisions and solution designs that are actionable and aligned with enterprise goals.
- Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to think strategically and see the bigger picture, while also being detail-oriented and pragmatic in execution.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and remaining composed under pressure.
- Familiarity with relevant security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
- Cultural fit: someone thoughtful, clear in communication, team-oriented, and focused on long-term impact.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or TOGAF are highly desirable.
