Summary/Objective

We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Solutions Engineer to join our team to play a vital and exciting role in driving our success. As a trusted technical expert and strategic partner to our sales team, the Solutions Engineer helps validate technical components and showcase the true value of our solutions. With a combination of technical expertise and dynamic sales acumen, the ideal candidate will inspire confidence and engagement with both current and prospective clients—delivering impactful demonstrations and tailored consultations that illustrate how our solutions address real customer needs and remove sales barriers.

The core function of this role is to support and accelerate penetration and growth across our core MSSP business. The Solutions Engineer will serve as the key technical liaison between sales and technical delivery teams—translating complex technology into clear business value for clients and ensuring alignment between client needs and solution design. Additionally, this individual will support solution engineering efforts across other technical departments, including Risk Management Services (RMS), Incident Response (IR), and IT Services (ITS) as needed, ensuring consistency and cohesion across CyberClan’s full suite of offerings.

  • Architect and integrate enterprise-grade security solutions, including EDR, SIEM, and Email Security platforms
  • Define and document technical implementation strategies, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks
Strategic Advisory
  • Provide high-impact security guidance and architecture recommendations tailored to client environments and business objectives
  • Develop security maturity roadmaps, technical best practices, and implementation blueprints

Pre-Sales Technical Support & Consultation
  • Take ownership of technical presentations and client discovery phases, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives
  • Work with Account Managers on account mapping to identify strategic targets and expansion opportunities
  • Ensure a developed and repeatable demo, presentation, and proof-of-concept (PoC) process is in place for all key MSSP service lines
  • Identify and promote regional cross-pollination of services by replicating successful implementations across new or underserved markets
  • Lead technical components of RFP responses, including solution architecture, bid strategy, and SOW development
  • Manage technical objections by proactively researching client-specific needs and solution nuances, turning potential barriers into opportunities through value-driven insights and differentiated technical capabilities
