MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial teams. The Solutions Consultant will build custom demos, load customer data into trials, and translate workflows into clear value stories for operators, plant managers, and executives.
You’ll drive discovery with Account Executives, deliver tailored demos, and lead technical validation across multi-stakeholder cycles, while staying current on product updates and collaborating across teams.
MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. More than 13,000 customers, including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL and Volvo, use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations, across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders.
In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions, the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.
Sales cycles in industrial software stall when prospects can't see themselves in the product. As a Solutions Consultant, you close that gap — building custom demos, loading real customer data into trial environments, and translating complex maintenance workflows into a clear value story for operators, plant managers, and executives alike.
You’ll join MaintainX’s Solutions Consulting team as the technical partner to our Mid-Market Account Executives. The team owns everything technical between first call and signed contract: discovery, demos, RFPs, questionnaires, trials and technical validation.
You’ll also be the product expert the sales team leans on. When AEs have a tough technical question, you’re the resource. When the demo library needs updating after a product release, you keep it current. When a junior rep is pitching a new vertical, you’re the one who sharpens their positioning.
You’ll work alongside product marketing, product management, engineering, implementation and support, and you’ll bring what you hear from customers back to those teams. At 6-12 months, you will support Mid-Market evaluations end to end, Account Executives will bring you into deals early, and the customer feedback you collect is shaping product and messaging.
This role is responsible for managing and supporting a customer portfolio based primarily in English-speaking markets (US/English Canada), requiring daily verbal and written communication in English with those customers.
This role will also involve travel for customer on‑sites.
Our mission is to keep the physical world running. Factories, fleets, hospitals and campuses stay up because the people who maintain them have tools worth using. That is what we build.
Base pay is one part of the package. Depending on the role, compensation may also include commission, an annual bonus and equity. Benefits differ by country. For roles in the United States, Autodesk’s benefits are described at benefits.autodesk.com. For roles in Canada and other countries, the plan differs on health coverage, retirement and leave, and your recruiter will walk you through it.
We take pride in a culture where everyone can thrive. More at autodesk.com/company/global-belonging. More on where this is going: Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost on building the future of connected operations, and AOS SVP Stephen Hooper on welcoming MaintainX to Autodesk.
