A health authority seeks a Solutions Architect to strategize and design clinical and business technologies. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computing Science, at least five years in a health care environment, and strong technical skills. Success in this position will involve collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. ITIL training is preferred.

Reporting to their responsible Director, the Solutions Architect provides for the strategy, design and architecture of high quality and highly available clinical and business oriented technologies. The Solutions Architect regularly works with Island Health Leadership, Corporate and Clinical Services, and cross functional operational teams to inform and develop solutions supporting organizational strategic plans and goals.
Education, Training And Experience
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Computing Science, Information Management or a related discipline. At least five years' experience working within or supporting a health care environment is preferred, including several years in a senior technology oversight or architecture role. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) training and experience required.
