Job description

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Solutions Architect to lead the onboarding and implementation experience for our customers. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact during onboarding, owning both the technical solution design and the overall success of implementation.

You will work closely with a Project Manager who supports execution, while you lead client conversations, guide solution strategy, and ensure customers are set up for long‑term success.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise, client leadership, and problem‑solving in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Discovery: Partner with clients to uncover deep‑seeded requirements, identifying system constraints, data dependencies, and business goals early in the onboarding process.

  • Solution Architecture: Design scalable architectures using the Vantage platform, defining data flows and configuration approaches that minimize friction and maximize performance.

  • Onboarding Leadership: Serve as the primary client‑facing technical lead, running high‑stakes meetings including kickoffs, solution design reviews, and go‑live validations.

  • Implementation Execution: Drive the end‑to‑end technical outcome of onboarding, making real‑time decisions to adapt solutions and executing configurations or integrations as needed.

  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers to maintain timelines, while surfacing customer feedback to Product and Engineering to influence the future roadmap.

  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve technical blockers or integration hurdles, ensuring a smooth and predictable path to launch.

Qualifications
  • Professional Experience: 3–7+ years as a Solutions Architect, Implementation Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Technical Product Manager within a SaaS environment.

  • Systems & Engineering Acumen: Demonstrated ability to design and evaluate integration architectures, including RESTful APIs, event‑driven patterns, and data transformation pipelines. Proficient in SQL and scripting (Python or equivalent); comfortable reading and reasoning about code written by engineering teams, even if not writing production code yourself.

  • Client Mastery: Proven ability to lead technical conversations with executive stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.

  • SaaS Implementation Expertise: Deep experience in professional services or onboarding, ideally within a fast‑growing startup or a data‑heavy product environment.

  • Problem Solver: A resourceful mindset with the ability to think on your feet and make decisive technical calls when faced with legacy system hurdles.

  • Outcome‑Oriented: A track record of driving successful go‑lives where solutions are not just “functional,” but perfectly aligned with the client’s strategic needs.

  • Collaborative Spirit: Experience working in a “pod” or partnership model (e.g., Architect + Project Manager) to balance technical excellence with project discipline.
