Our valued professional services client is looking for a Solution Architect to support IFS FSM & ERP implementation projects!
Permanent full-time opportunity (Remote). On-site work / travel will be required in the GTA and across Western Canada on an as‑needed basis.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of complex software projects, particularly in Field Service Management, while serving as a trusted consultant for end clients primarily in the O&G industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end architecture design for IFS FSM, ensuring alignment with field operations, customer service, and mobile workforce requirements.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, technical workshops, and solution design reviews with stakeholders from both merging organizations.
- Define system integration points, business process flows, and data strategies for field service activities.
- Provide architectural oversight across functional areas such as work order management, mobile service, dispatch, scheduling, and customer communication.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and configuration teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of solution components.
- Support decision‑making around system customization vs. configuration, balancing performance, scalability, and long‑term maintainability.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders on IFS FSM best practices and implementation strategy.
- Contribute to governance activities and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Must‑Have Skills
- 6+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Functional Lead, or Technical Consultant in enterprise software implementations (especially FSM , EAM, and ERP solutions).
- Experience working in professional services, systems integrator, or consulting environments delivering enterprise software solutions.
- Strong, hands‑on experience with IFS FSM in a design, architecture, or delivery capacity.
- Proven success implementing or configuring modules such as field service execution, mobile workforce, dispatch & scheduling, or customer service within IFS FSM.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Familiarity with IFS Planning & Scheduling Optimization (PSO) or related dispatch tools.
- Experience working on large‑scale organizational mergers or systems consolidations.
- Prior exposure to IFS ERP (especially in supply chain, maintenance, or finance) is a strong asset but not required.
