Your role and responsibilities
  • Data Architecture & Solution Design: Develop and maintain comprehensive data architecture plans, encompassing databases, data warehouses, big data platforms, and data lakes. Lead in designing scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures that align with broader business strategies and objectives.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of data engineers, data analysts, and other data professionals. Mentor and guide the team in implementing best practices for data integration, ingestion, consumption, data modeling, and leveraging modern data platforms like Azure.
  • Problem Solving: Utilize your deep understanding of database systems, SQL, Python, NoSQL databases, data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies to resolve complex data-related problems and challenges.
  • Proposal Development & Presentation: Lead the creation of technical proposals, showcasing your advanced written and communication skills. Deliver compelling presentations articulating robust data solutions to diverse stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrate your ability to lead ad‑hoc teams and meet challenging deadlines, bringing people together to deliver high‑quality results under pressure.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills to engage and influence senior leadership, business units, and IT teams. Articulate complex data concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate data‑related risks at an organizational level, ensuring robust data governance and quality standards are upheld.
  • Business Development: Contribute to go‑to‑market strategies and new client proposal development, leveraging your deep data services expertise to win new contracts.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum of 10 years) in data architecture, solution architecture, and data services.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing data integration, ingestion, and consumption strategies.
  • Deep expertise in database systems, SQL, NoSQL databases, data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
  • Experience with modern data platforms such as Azure.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, demonstrated by successful team leadership roles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively, both in writing and in presentations.
  • Track record of leading and winning large‑scale data services projects and engagements.
  • A passion for staying up‑to‑date with the latest trends and advancements in data services and big data technologies.
Preferred technical and professional experience

An advanced degree is preferred.
