Job summary

Barracuda is seeking a passionate midlevel Software Senior Developer in Test to join our cross-functional Agile team. You will develop and maintain automated test suites for cloud security products, collaborating with Product and Development to ensure high-quality releases.

With 5+ years in software development and testing, you will leverage Java or Python, AWS/Azure, and Selenium/TestNG to drive comprehensive test coverage; knowledge of email/authentication tech is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development, testing, and automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Proficient in test automation frameworks such as Selenium and TestNG; API testing.
• Familiar with email/authentication technologies (SMTP/IMAP/LDAP/MS AD) is a plus.

What you will be working on:

• Identify and document defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues

What you bring to the role:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, testing, and automation
• Strong programming skills in languages such as, Java, or Python
• Experience with AWS or Azure, including knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services
• Expertise in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG and API testing using Robot or Rest Assured
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Familiarity with email and Authentication technologies like SMTP, POP and IMAP, LDAP, MS AD is a plus.

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is CAD 92,000 to CAD 122,500. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
