As a Senior Quality Engineer Automation Analyst you will provide support for a suite of business mission-critical and complex applications, understanding both the front and back-end of the applications and performing hands-on testing on various projects. The technology platform spans Windows and Linux, Python / Java environments, and MS SQL and Oracle databases.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Automate assigned areas/features using the existing framework and provide test estimations; build automation scripts using Python & Unix.
• Responsible for overall quality of testing deliverables/activities.
• Support the implementation of the QE Program and overall QE process and standards through continuous test execution and reporting.
• Leverages existing automation frameworks, tools and artefacts to ensure testing is continuous, comprehensive and autonomous.
• Hands-on experience in Python, SQL and Unix testing platforms; code reviews prior to deployments; integration test automation.
• Collaborate with the Application Development team remotely as one team to integrate quality engineering concepts within the DevOps framework/pipeline.
• Work with Senior QE lead/Manager across lines of business to identify end-to-end application changes to drive QE strategies during testing.
• Hands-on testing, technical coaching, mentoring, training, and day-to-day interaction with a team of QE practitioners and developers, driving test cases for projects/programs.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a QE/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases).
• Minimum 2 years of test development experience working on the latest technologies and frameworks.
• Good knowledge of Testing Life Cycle, Shift left approach and Defect Management processes for application support and development.
• Good knowledge of QE processes, methodologies and test design techniques with hands-on experience with QTest, JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience in a variety of test automation frameworks/tools (Robot Framework, SoapUI, Selenium, TestNG) and script development using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).
• Hands-on coding experience in Python, SQL and HDFS/HIVE, Cloudera, Helios.

Nice-to-have:

• QA-related certification (e.g., ISTQB, Agile testing, AML domain knowledge).
• Knowledge of Gen AI, LLM and data engineering.
• Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree/diploma or equivalent experience (e.g., Python, Java, C, SQL DB querying).
