Affirm is seeking a software engineer to join the Marketplace and App Experience team. You will contribute to front‑end and API work across web and mobile, collaborating with product, design and analytics.
You will own components, participate in code reviews, and help ship features with a strong emphasis on quality and scalability. The role emphasizes remote‑first work within Canada, competitive base pay, and growth opportunities.

The Marketplace and App Experience domain is the main pillar of our core consumer strategy, driving the user journey across all of our frontend surfaces: Mobile and Web. The teams span across multiple products and areas to engage and provide value to our customers, starting with the Home hub in the app or website, which expands into the various product offers and journeys a user can embark on with affirm. This role will be at the forefront of our front‑end facing cross‑team projects, working closely with other teams and engineers across our mobile and web technologies, while also evolving and collaborating with every product experience team at affirm.

Employees new to affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job‑related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by affirm holdings, inc. (parent company).
CAN base pay range per year: CAD $133,000 - $183,000
This remote role is open only to candidates residing in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan.
