The full stack Software Engineer will be a member of the Digital Americas organization. Digital Americas is a multi-disciplinary technical team comprised of data scientists, software engineers and operations research experts. The team serves Linde business units and is tasked with creating analytics and decision support systems that deliver solutions for challenging problems across operations, supply chain and business process.

The candidate will work closely with our engineers and data scientists to enable stakeholders to seamlessly use our technology. The candidate must possess the ability to architect the appropriate solution from the ground up based on a set of business requirements.

Key Accountabilities
  • Full stack development to create state of the art software applications
  • Deliver solutions to production systems by applying quality software principles
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to find new ideas and formulate creative technical solutions
  • Balance development of new solutions with replication and support of existing tools
  • Stay abreast of new technology developments and actively contribute ideas for new programs
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Knowledge of C#, ASP.Net, or Java equivalence
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and UI frameworks like React or Vue
  • Expertise in designing relational database and SQL programming
  • Strong software development skills, including architectural design, testing, debugging and implementation
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international)
Preferred
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with Azure/AWS or other cloud computing platforms
  • Experience working in an agile environment

This is a new position with a starting salary of $85,000/year.
