Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient platforms behind mission-critical trading systems. This role provides genuine technical ownership of infrastructure operating at global scale from Montreal.

You will drive CI/CD pipelines, strengthen observability, and build automation across large-scale environments with Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring reliability and high performance in a demanding quant trading setup.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, or DevOps Engineer
• Strong Linux systems knowledge and automation experience
• Track record building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Solid grasp of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infra automation
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Go, Bash, or similar)
• Genuine passion for building reliable, highly available platforms
