PostGrid is seeking a versatile Software Engineer to contribute to core services handling billions of API calls monthly. You will work as a full-stack developer across architecture, backend, and frontend, with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and React.

Collaborate with product and customers, design scalable systems, implement tests with Jest and Vitest, and own features from planning through delivery in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a full-stack software engineer, building both backend and front-end solutions for SaaS companies or growing startups.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and React.
• Proven experience with system design, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks like Jest and Vitest.
• A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

About The Team:

PostGrid’s customer engineering team is the bridge between our customers and our product. As we are an API-first company, this team’s focus is to enable our customers to leverage our technology effectively. This involves everything from extending the capabilities of our platform to writing effective documentation that lets customers go from idea to implementation with the least amount of friction.

What you’ll do:

As a Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our core product, responsible for both technical leadership and hands-on development. You'll be building and enhancing our core services, which handle over a billion API calls a month. This role requires you to be a versatile full-stack developer who can contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, from architectural design to implementation and ongoing maintenance.

Your Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack Development: Build and enhance services using Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and React.
• API Development: Iterate on REST APIs that handle over one billion requests monthly, ensuring they are robust and scalable.
• Product Collaboration: Contribute to product design, optimizing user experiences and workflows. You will also plan features and estimate complexity in collaboration with the product management team.
• Customer Advocacy: Manage a portfolio of key clients, identify risks, and create retention plans. You'll advocate for customer needs internally to address product concerns and improve retention.
