• 8+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack/backend delivery.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST/gRPC APIs.
• Production Python experience with FastAPI/Flask and Pandas/NumPy.
• Hands-on with Tekton, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift and CI/CD.
• Database design and performance tuning across Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Infrastructure as Code.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management.

Senior Forward Deployed Engineer – Spread Products (Financing & Securitization)

Role Overview

Senior Forward Deployed Engineer with strong Java and Python expertise to build and deploy production-grade solutions for Fintech clients in the Spread Products domain. This customer-facing role combines software architecture, hands-on development, and client collaboration across trading, risk, and operations. Experience in Financing and Securitization is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, define solutions, and drive technical delivery.
• Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Python, and microservices.
• Build and integrate REST/gRPC APIs, messaging systems, and enterprise applications.
• Optimize database performance across Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Tekton/OpenShift Pipelines and Jenkins.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure production readiness, security, auditability, monitoring, and reliable deployments.
• Communicate architecture decisions, manage stakeholders, and own delivery from discovery through production.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in full-stack/backend development and customer-facing delivery.
• Strong Java, Core Java, Java 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST/gRPC APIs.
• Production experience with Python, FastAPI/Flask, and data-processing libraries such as Pandas/NumPy.
• Hands-on experience with Tekton, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD.
• Strong database design and performance tuning skills across Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Infrastructure as Code.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and ownership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fintech, Capital Markets, Spread Products, or Securitization (ABS/MBS) experience.
• Experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture, and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Splunk.
• Exposure to quantitative analytics, pricing, risk models, or ML using Python.
• Previous experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant.
