Job summary

Nexthop Systems Inc in Burnaby, BC, is seeking a software engineer to help build scalable AI infrastructure.

You will work across design, implementation, testing, and customer-facing support, collaborating with a seasoned team to push the boundaries of systems software in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field with at least 5 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C, or C++.
• Knowledge of systems software, including embedded and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with containers like Docker and databases like SQL/NoSQL is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
• Ability to take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all parts of software engineering, from design and implementation of software solutions to testing and peer review.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in all parts of software engineering, ranging from design and implementation
  of software solutions to testing and peer review
