You will oversee projects, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a culture of innovation. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, extensive experience in software development, and proficiency in Microsoft technologies. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to drive technological advancements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing technical teams and leading software development.
  • Proven experience in database management and IT strategy.

Responsibilities

Skills

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Provide mentorship, direction and training to the software development team ensuring equitable workload distribution and professional growth.
    • Foster a collaborative, results‑oriented culture focused on customer service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Project & Process Management
    • Oversee corporate software development projects from inception to delivery ensuring milestones are achieved and stakeholders remain informed.
    • Assess and enhance development tools, methodologies and environments to drive operational efficiency and innovation.
  • Technical Strategy & Architecture
    • Architect design and maintain databases and software systems that ensure scalability, performance and security.
    • Guide the development of new client/server and Windows‑based applications as well as support and improve existing systems.
  • Quality & Compliance
    • Ensure all software and systems adhere to regulatory standards, data security best practices and internal compliance requirements.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design and functional specifications.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
    • Partner with internal business units to assess technology needs, recommend solutions and identify opportunities to improve process efficiency.
    • Participate in departmental meetings providing updates, insights and progress reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computing Science or a related discipline.
    • 15 years of software development, database management and IT leadership experience.
    • Proven experience managing technical teams and leading end‑to‑end software development initiatives.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (C#, SQL Server, Visual Studio).
    • Experience with REST‑based API design, Guidewire and client‑side frameworks such as React or Angular.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation, ASPX, HTML, VB Script, jQuery and related tools.
  • Key Competencies
    • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
    • Results‑driven mindset with a focus on innovation, efficiency and quality outcomes.
