Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC in Vancouver leads the development of Amazon Connect, a cloud-based contact center. You will join a fast-growing, customer-focused team building scalable and resilient software that touches millions of users daily.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the next generation Amazon Connect in the cloud.
• Design scalable, resilient systems with a strong customer focus.
• Deliver high-quality software features through the full SDLC and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews to maintain quality and velocity.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and other resources to improve health and well-being.
