Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a seasoned Delivery Manager and Application Architect to lead end-to-end software delivery, product engineering initiatives, and architectural governance for cloud-hosted, AI-driven enterprise applications in a hybrid leadership role.

You will guide cross-functional teams through the full delivery lifecycle—from discovery and design to SIT, UAT, deployment, and operations—translating business requirements into scalable cloud architectures on Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software development, delivery management, and application architecture.
• 4+ years as an Application Architect or equivalent role designing and integrating cloud-hosted applications.
• 10+ years strong project planning, execution, risk management, governance, and operational management experience.
• 8+ years excellent client communication, stakeholder management, executive reporting, and presentation skills.
• 5+ years experience managing production environments, application support, and operational governance.
• 2+ years working knowledge of Cloud AI services and platforms such as Azure/AWS/GCP

Responsibilities

• Delivery & Program Management: Lead end-to-end delivery of software products and transformation programs.

We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Manager and Application Architect to lead end-to-end software delivery, product engineering initiatives, and architectural governance for cloud-hosted, AI-driven enterprise applications. This hybrid leadership role combines delivery management excellence with hands-on application architecture expertise, enabling the successful design, integration, and execution of scalable software solutions across client engagements.

The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, leading cross-functional teams through the full delivery lifecycle—from business discovery and solution design through development, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), production deployment, and operational support. The role requires strong program governance, stakeholder communication, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures aligned with modern cloud and AI platforms.

Experience supporting proposal development, RFP responses, effort estimation, and solutioning activities is essential. Working knowledge of Agentic AI, Generative AI, Intelligent Automation, and SaaS modernization is highly valued. Healthcare domain experience across payer, provider, RCM, COB, and healthcare analytics is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery & Program Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of software products, enhancement initiatives, and transformation programs.

• Manage project plans, delivery schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and escalation management.

• Ensure delivery commitments are met within agreed scope, quality, budget, and timelines.

• Drive Agile delivery practices, release planning, and program governance activities.

• Provide regular status updates, executive reporting, and stakeholder communication to leadership and clients.

• Support proposal creation, solutioning, effort estimation, and RFP response activities.

• Application Architecture & Solution Design

• Analyze and design scalable, cloud-hosted applications and AI-enabled business solutions aligned with client needs.

• Develop architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and solution roadmaps for cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Provide architecture governance and technical oversight across product engineering and delivery programs.

• Lead technology selection and integration decisions to enhance application capabilities and platform scalability.

• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions and delivery strategies.

• Optimize CI/CD pipelines, release management practices, and engineering best practices.

• Integration, Testing & Client Enablement

• Proactively address integration issues and ensure seamless execution across development, SIT, and UAT phases.

• Collaborate with QA and engineering teams on System Integration Testing, reviewing test cases and scenarios.

• Provide architectural expertise during SIT and UAT, troubleshooting issues and ensuring acceptance criteria are met.

• Document findings, recommend improvements, and support client readiness for production deployment.

• Conduct stakeholder training sessions and develop comprehensive architectural and user documentation.

• Finalize architectural documentation and ensure accurate client handover and operational readiness.

• Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

• Lead cross-functional teams including Developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, Architects, and Support teams.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, business stakeholders, and technology leaders.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through discovery workshops and alignment sessions.

• Mentor architects, engineering leads, and delivery teams; drive accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Oversee production operations, application support, and service reliability activities.

• Drive process improvements, SaaS transformation, application modernization, and delivery best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in software development, delivery management, and application architecture. Proven experience managing software delivery projects, product engineering initiatives, and cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, SIT, UAT, CI/CD, and release management.

• 4+years Demonstrated experience as an Application Architect or equivalent role designing and integrating cloud-hosted applications.

• 10+ years Strong project planning, execution, risk management, governance, and operational management experience.

• 8+ years Excellent client communication, stakeholder management, executive reporting, and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• 5+ years Experience managing production environments, application support, and operational governance.

• 2+ years Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including AI and machine learning services.

Preferred Qualification:

• 2+ years Working knowledge of Agentic AI, Generative AI, and Intelligent Automation with ability to contribute to proposals and solution discussions.

• 2+ years Exposure to AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, AWS AI Services, or similar technologies.

• 5+ years Experience conducting client workshops, business discovery sessions, and technical onboarding.

• 4+ years Healthcare domain experience (Payer, Provider, RCM, COB, Healthcare Analytics, or related areas).

• 4+ years Experience leading SaaS transformation, application modernization, and cloud adoption initiatives.

• Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or cloud/architecture credentials are a plus.
