Job summary

Google in Canada is hiring a Software Engineer for Chrome Desktop Growth. You will work on developing features in C++ and web tech, contributing to the Chromium open-source project, and collaborating with global developers.

You will also design, build, and maintain the foundational features such as the tab strip, tab groups, toolbar, side panel, bookmarks, and other productivity features that enable users to navigate the web more effortlessly. Your work is crucial in shaping a modern, user-centric browser experience that simplifies complex tasks, reduces friction, and ensures Chrome remains the trusted, go-to choice on desktop platforms.

Canada: $150000 - $153000 (CAD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
