We are looking for a highly motivated student to join our global team as a Software Developer Co‑op and build a world‑class oncology EMR and Treatment Management System used in Canada and worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, develop, and document software enhancements for oncology‑focused products using modern development technologies such as .NET Core, C#, Java, TypeScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, RESTful web services, and SQL Server.
  • Participate in design and code reviews, unit, feature, and regression testing, and collaborate with development teams and other departments worldwide on application solutions.
  • Apply analytical thinking and a proactive mindset to solve complex problems in a multicultural environment, delivering high quality and value.
  • Join a cross‑functional team building the oncology EMR and Treatment Management System that will be used to treat patients in Canada and other countries, contributing to Siemens Healthineers’ fight against cancer across 100+ countries.
Skills
  • Experience developing software systems.
  • Knowledge of software testing procedures.
  • Experience with peer code reviews.
Required Skills and Education
  • Experience using at least one of the following technologies: .NET Core, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular (or similar JavaScript frameworks).
  • Strong analytical, communicative, and focused mindset; ability to present and sell ideas.
  • Aptitude for independent work and open discussion of ideas and solutions with colleagues.
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, majoring in computer science.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred).

The pay range for this position is $20–$32 per hour; however, base pay may vary depending on education, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers paid time off for interns.
