Role Overview

Justice Technology Services Digital Design Branch requires senior software developers (8 years experience) to design, develop and support a modern cloud-based digital information system integrated with internal and external applications.

You will participate in full-cycle development – from design to deployment – and collaborate closely with technical teams, testers and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop web and cloud-based applications using Azure technologies.
• Integrate applications with internal and external systems.
• Provide application and production support.
• Prepare deployment packages and documentation for Dev, UAT and Production environments.
• Support QA teams during system and UAT testing.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and maintain technical documentation.

Mandatory Requirements

• 8 years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Framework.
• Proven expertise in developing web-based B2B / B2C applications in client / server environments.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (installation, configuration, customization, deployment, troubleshooting, production support).
• Development expertise in C# .NET Core MVC, WPF, WCF, and Windows/Web Services.
• Proficiency with SQL Server (2005 / 2008 / 2012) stored procedures and database design.
• Front‑end skills: HTML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Microsoft IIS (7.0 / 8.0).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS and data migration/reporting tools is an asset.
