An educational institution in Halifax is seeking a Software Developer for the OPTIMISING ACCESS project. The role involves developing an online registry for stroke patients, requiring knowledge of relational databases and web development. This position allows for remote work mostly within Nova Scotia but requires occasional in-person presence. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.
The OPTIMISING ACCESS project aims to improve access to endovascular treatment for stroke patients across Canada. This will be achieved by building a National Acute Stroke Treatment Registry. We aim to have most of the 215 designated stroke hospitals contribute data in the registry.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Software Developer will develop an online registry for the OPTIMISING ACCESS project based on provided functional specifications.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will primarily work remotely from within Nova Scotia with occasional presence in-person on‑campus to meet client needs and operation requirements.
