Job description
Overview

Our Software Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and ensuring the smooth operation of enterprise applications within the organization (WinTEAM, Docebo, Hire by WorkWave, and TrackTik). As a part of our Innovation & Technology team, you will be responsible for providing support and troubleshooting any escalated issues related to these applications as well as acting in a business analyst role to review and recommend process improvements.

This role requires a highly motivated, self‑starter who defaults to asking why things are as they are and considering how they could be better. Our ideal candidate brings a sharp analytical mind, is detail oriented and inclined to help others, and possesses strong communication skills to deliver effective training and issue resolution.

The role is expected to be divided approximately 70% software management and troubleshooting, and 30% Business Analysis.

Work Location: This position will be hybrid, working 4‑days in‑office at one of our branches (Burnaby, Calgary, Toronto, etc.; whichever is closest to the successful candidate's home location), and 1‑day from home after successful completion of training.

Salary: $50,000 - $75,000 CAD, based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains user confidence as a technical subject matter expert (SME) of all enterprise applications.
  • Provides technical support and responds to user inquiries; troubleshoots/ resolves issues promptly within SLA's.
  • Manages the day‑to‑day administration and configuration of enterprise applications; maintains documentation.
  • Maintains user access and permissions within applications to ensure security and integrity.
  • Conducts effective training for end‑users based on features and functionality relevant to their role.
  • Monitors system performance and troubleshoots issues that arise; escalates major outage issues, as required.
  • Regularly meets with software vendors, tracking ongoing tickets and issues.
  • Stays informed about software updates and makes recommendations for process improvements.
  • Performs other duties as required to meet organizational requirements.
Skills & Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with data reporting and manipulation tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of WinTEAM, TrackTik, Docebo and/or Hire by WorkWave is preferred; otherwise, a willingness and ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficient in SQL, including experience in database querying, manipulation, and optimization is preferred; otherwise, a willingness and ability to learn.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including PowerApps for building custom business applications, Power Automate for workflow automation, and Power BI for advanced data visualization and analytics is preferred; otherwise, a willingness and ability to learn.
  • Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps and Runbooks, enabling integration and automation of workflows across cloud services and on‑premises systems within the Azure ecosystem is preferred; otherwise, a willingness and ability to learn.
