Job summary

Giant Tiger Inc. in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a part-time Softgoods Associate to deliver friendly customer service at the register, stock replenishment, markdowns, and planogram maintenance.

You will also ensure policy compliance and safe, organized checkout areas to create a positive shopping experience. The role offers a mix of day/evening/weekend shifts with 24 hours weekly typical for part-time work, and a starting hourly rate of C$17.95.

• Ensuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followed
• Ensuring the checkout work area is kept clean and organized
• Ensuring Loss prevention best practices are followed

About This Role:

• Ensuring a high level of customer service

When You’ll Work: A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly. A typical part-time schedule will be a mix of days, evenings and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.

Physical Demands of Position:

• Stand and/or walk
• Bend, twist, and squat
• Lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.)
• Perform tasks involving firm grasping
• Perform repetitive tasks requiring a range of hand motions
• Reach above shoulder height and below waist level
• Operate equipment, including using a ladder
