Job summary
A health authority in British Columbia seeks a Social Worker to provide assessment, care planning, and referral services within a multidisciplinary health care team. Candidates must have a Bachelor of Social Work degree and current registration with the BC College of Social Workers. This role requires strong counseling, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a valid BC Driver's License. Travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Two years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, care planning, intervention, and referral services for clients.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary health care team.
