A community health organization in Nova Scotia is seeking a qualified Social Worker to perform advanced social work responsibilities. The ideal candidate will resolve complex psychosocial issues, collaborate with hospital staff, and train social work students. A Master's degree in Social Work and full registration with the BC College of Social Workers are required. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and commitment to professional growth are essential. This position prioritizes patient and staff safety.

Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator, performs professional social work of advanced complexity. Assists in resolving complex psychosocial problems. Carries out a variety of casework and counselling methods; consults extensively with hospital staff and community agencies regarding the psychosocial aspects of the patient's situation and participates in the training of Social Work students.
Masters of Social Work degree (M.S.W.) from an accredited school of Social Work required. Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers. Related social work experience, preferably in a medical setting, and demonstrated clinical competence.
