A leading health service provider in Canada is seeking a Social Worker II to join their psychiatry program at Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive social work services, including assessments and treatment for patients and families. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and be registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers. Competitive salary and additional benefits are offered.

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS offers a Remote Retention Allowance of up to $3,000 per year, payable on an hourly basis for hours paid at the basic rate. As a Social Worker II, you will be a member of an inter‑disciplinary team and provide a range of social work services to patients and their families. Your services may include psychosocial assessment, resource‑based interventions, individual, group and family treatment, risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition or discharge planning, and prevention, promotion and public‑awareness activities.
Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
As required.
Connect Care experience is an asset. Experience in inpatient psychiatry or other addictions and mental health is an asset. Working with youth, adult or geriatric populations is an asset.
