A post-secondary institution in northern Alberta is seeking a part-time social work faculty member to join its School of Applied Sciences and Technology. The role involves developing a field guide, supervising student placements, and teaching preparation courses for diploma students. Candidates must hold a Master of Social Work and have experience in diverse settings. This position offers competitive compensation and a supportive learning environment, starting November 1, 2025.

The role is within our School of Applied Sciences and Technology. The departments within the School are located on our Grande Prairie campus and our Fairview campus. The School offers a variety of programmes in Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Sciences and Animal Health Technology. Through this programming, we offer a variety of certificates, diplomas, university transfer courses as well as a degree in Computing Science.
The Humanities and Social Sciences Department has launched a social work diploma program in 2025‑2026. The program has a rural northern and Indigenous focus and emphasizes social practice in those contexts.
