Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Social Media Manager located in Airdrie, AB, with some work from home acceptable. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing social media platforms, developing content strategies, creating engaging social media content, and implementing Social Media Optimization (SMO) techniques. Day-to-day tasks will include planning, scheduling, and posting content, engaging with the community, monitoring analytics, and coordinating with the marketing team to enhance the brand's online presence.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
  • Strong Communication and Writing skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing Content Strategies
  • Comfortable creating content in person and online
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and tools
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
  • Experience in the food or delivery industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred

Compensation

Practicum placement or paid $18–$20/hr for ~10–15 hrs/week
