Job Title: Social Media Coordinator (6-month contract)

Location(s): Downtown Toronto (position requires some travels to stores, presence at the office 5 days a week is preferred)

Reporting to: Marketing - Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a creative, trend‑savvy Social Media Coordinator to help shape how UNIQLO Canada shows up online. You’ll play a hands‑on role in managing our organic social channels – from content creation and calendar planning to on‑ground production and community engagement.

Job Responsibilities
  • Bring UNIQLO’s story to life across all @UNIQLOCANADA social platforms through scroll‑stopping content and consistent community engagement.
  • Manage and update content calendars, ensuring our feed is always on point, on brand and on time.
  • Collaborate with teams across marketing, PR, and retail to integrate product drops, brand campaigns, and key moments into cohesive social storytelling.
  • Support content production – whether in‑store, in‑studio, or at events – from creative brainstorming and casting to product coordination and set styling.
  • Pitch fresh, platform‑first content ideas that capture cultural moments and resonate with Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences.
  • Build and maintain our digital content library – organizing assets, images, and videos to keep creative operations running smoothly.
  • Work with PR team to align influencer collaborations with social strategies and help identify up‑and‑coming creators who reflect our brand values.
  • Engage with our community through comments, DMs, and conversation, turning followers into brand advocates.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social performance – using insights to fine‑tune our approach and drive growth and engagement.
  • Stay ahead of trends, cultural conversations, and digital innovations, bringing fresh ideas that keep UNIQLO at the forefront of fashion and lifestyle culture.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in social media marketing (i.e. TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X), preferably within the fashion, retail or lifestyle space.
  • A natural storyteller who understands how to create content that’s relevant, relatable, and real.
  • Confident working both behind and in front of the camera when needed.
  • Skilled in social media management tools (i.e. Meta Business Suite, Sprout, Later, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms.
  • Proficient in photo/video editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or Canva.
  • Organized, proactive and adaptable – you thrive in a fast paced, ever evolving environment.
  • A strong collaborator with a positive, can‑do attitude and an eye for detail.
  • French language proficiency considered an asset.
