smartdept. is searching for a Social Media Coordinator for a creative agency located in Toronto Canada. Must be local to Toronto. The ideal candidate will come with 2 years of social media management experience ideally in e-commerce music or creative industries. This is afull-time direct-hire position located in Toronto.

The Social Media Coordinator will own and grow a variety of clients brand presence across digital platforms lead product launches plan releases analyze analytics and drive organic growth. This role is highly collaborative working closely with the leadership team and requires creativity reliability and strong interpersonal skills. Youll also support broader branding and marketing initiatives help put systems and processes in place for product launches. Occasional travel to Nashville for product filming and team integration is expected.

What Youll Do:
  • Develop and execute creative forward-thinking social media and branding strategies to grow their clients brands organically
  • Lead product launches and pre-plan content for new releases creating and optimizing processes and systems to support these efforts
  • Monitor analyze and report on social media analytics; provide actionable insights
  • Assist with social media coordination for additional clients as needed
  • Maintain a consistent authentic brand voice across all platforms
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute new ideas for product promotion and audience engagement
What Youll Need:
Education / Experience:
  • 2 years of professional social media management or coordination experience (e-commerce or music / creative industries preferred)
  • Proven track record of driving organic growth and engagement
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Meta Insights Google Analytics Sprout Social etc.)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to develop and implement systems and processes for launches
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable personable and self-starting attitude
  • Creative thinker who enjoys collaborating in a team environment
  • Experience editing video content for social media
