Job Type: Full-time
Where: In-Office at Hamilton, Ontario.
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Responsibilities:
- Be the brand’s voice on social media: write captions, respond to DMs, comments, and nurture community conversation
 - Research trends and develop content ideas tailored to each platform
 - Create scroll-stopping photo, video, and visual content, from ideation to editing
 - Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging with campaigns
 - Maintain a consistent brand tone and visual identity across all channels
 - Reach out to influencers for brand collaborations and cross promotions
 - Monitor performance and community feedback to continuously improve content
 
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a content creator or social media manager
 - Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
 - Strong eye for design, aesthetics, and visual storytelling
 - Proficiency in photo and video editing tools (Adobe, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
 - Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Youtube and emerging platforms
 - Passion for culture, internet trends, and engaging online communities
 - Bonus: experience with paid social, analytics tools, or influencer outreach
 
Experience:
- 1-2 years in a content creator role, with a history of exceeding reach targets.
 - Strong familiarity with content creation tools, social media apps, and CRM management tools.
 - Please share your portfolio link which includes any short form video(s) created and edited by you.
 
Preferred Education/Certifications:
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related creative field
 - Certifications in content creation, digital marketing, or social media management (e.g. Meta Blueprint, Hootsuite Academy, HubSpot, Google Digital Garage)
 - Bonus if you’ve completed relevant online courses from platforms like Coursera, Skillshare, or LinkedIn Learning
