Placements24 is seeking a creative Social Media & Communications Officer to elevate our charitable presence online. You will manage social channels, craft compelling content, and help share success stories that demonstrate social impact.

The ideal candidate has proven social media campaign experience, strong writing and visuals skills, and comfort working remotely. You will analyze performance, report insights, and support newsletters and website content to engage a broad audience.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual content creation skills.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging and relevant content, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our online community.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and generate regular reports to inform strategy and improve engagement.
  • Support the development and distribution of other communication materials, such as newsletters and website content.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual content creation skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote environment.
  • A passion for storytelling and communicating the impact of the Charity & Voluntary sector, with an understanding of the Kimberley context.
