The Vet Service in Ontario is seeking a Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to lead a well-established companion animal hospital, mentoring colleagues and upholding high medical standards while guiding ongoing practice development.

The role blends hands-on clinical care with leadership responsibilities across preventive medicine, dentistry, surgery, urgent care and complementary services, including acupuncture and laser therapy. A strong team-focused, growth-minded clinician is ideal.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary qualification.
• Eligible for veterinary licensure in Ontario.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to high-quality medicine and collaborative team development.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership while remaining actively involved in day-to-day patient care.
