Job summary

ePac Flexible Packaging is seeking a Slitting Operator in Mississauga to set up and operate slitting machines, ensure quality, and prepare for shipping. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and efficient production workflows in a fast-paced laminated film environment.

You will work evening shifts (4:00 pm–2:00 am) with potential training in the mornings, handling material preparation, machine operation, and daily documentation to meet customer quality specifications.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in production, slitting and printing setting.
• High school diploma preferred
• Shift flexibility required – Evening shift is 4:00 pm to 2:00 am; training hours may be mornings.

Responsibilities

• Set up the slitter and run production to meet job orders.
• Clean the slitter daily and organize machine parts.
• Load material on machine supports and thread through tension bar.
• Inspect material and ensure correct coding weights and bond strength.
• Document production data accurately and timely.
• Report maintenance needs and safety issues to supervision.
