Job description
DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Skilled technician to complete our team in Edmonton, Alberta.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations.

Use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship.

Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments.

Deliver fully proficient performing skilled activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and responsibilities.

Maintain clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.

Perform other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals.

Participate actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following :

  • Education, Licenses, Certifications : Heavy duty certification- OFF road is mandatory for this role.
Experience

Engine servicing experience is required.

Experience with Cummins service tooling (Insite), and service documentation (Quick Serve) is considered an asset.

About the role

Working hours are Monday-Friday 3:30pm to midnight.

Unionized environment.

Salary starts at $ hourly as per current CBA plus $ hourly premium

In this role you will maintain proper documentation and ensure quality standards are consistently met. Disassemble, inspect, assemble, and test of remanufactured high horsepower engines. Disassemble and assemble of mining haul truck modules.
