Job summary

Four 12 roofing Ltd. in Victoria, BC is hiring a roofer to install built-up roofing systems and shingles on sloped roofs. The position is on site, permanent and full time, starting as soon as possible.

Salary is CAD 31.00 per hour for 40 hours per week. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of roofing experience and no degree required. Travel not required beyond local area; safety boots and gloves provided by you.

Qualifications

• 2 years to less than 3 years of roofing experience.
• No degree, certificate or diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Install built-up roofing systems using asphalt felts, hot asphalt and gravel.
• Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and roofing tiles on sloped roofs.
• Install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials.
• Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs.
• Follow safety practices and use personal protective equipment.
