Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a painter/finisher for work at various locations in Canada. Primary duties include preparing surfaces, painting, wallpaper work, and advising on colour choices.

The role involves working at heights and on-site setup of scaffolding, with 30–40 hours per week and permanent employment terms in some environments. Ideal candidates hold a secondary school graduation certificate and 1–2 years of painting experience, with strong attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• Secondary school certificate required.
• 1–2 years of painting experience.
• Experience with wallpaper and finishes.
• Ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted.
• Repair cracks and holes.
• Mix paint to desired colour and texture.
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• Advise consumers on colours and wall coverings.
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Estimate costs and materials.
